Project Read is a phonetic approach to beginning reading instruction based on the Orton-Gillingham method, originally designed for tutoring dyslexics. Project Read similarly uses a systematic phonics progression, systematic approaches to building comprehension, writing, and spelling, and extensive professional development for teachers.
